Giving Back

At Under the Willow Tree, we deeply value our planet and want to do our part to make a positive impact. That's why a portion of each customer sale will go towards planting a tree with Tree Canada and their National Greening Program.

Tree Canada is the only national non-profit organization dedicated to planting and nurturing trees in rural and urban environments, in every province across the country. Their National Greening Program targets areas in need of reforestation or afforestation with mass seedling plantings.

Our Sustainability

We strive for sustainable practices and we make conscious choices to minimize our environmental impact. We're always learning and finding new ways to reduce waste and leave a clean footprint. Here are a few ways we are making a difference:

  • Working with eco-conscious brands - Our brand selection is influenced by their eco-conscious business practices. We prioritize locally made, small-batch products that come in sustainable packaging.
  • Zero waste shipping - Our shipping materials are recyclable and compostable. You can easily recycle our boxes because we use water-activated, recyclable tape!
  • Reusing when possible - You'll sometimes find bubble wrap or plastic in your order. This is because we reuse packaging materials from our brands. While we strive for plastic-free, protecting your product from damage is crucial to avoid creating more waste. We encourage you to reuse the bubble wrap so you can help reduce waste and promote sustainability.

Check back for updates on our sustainable practices as our company grows. Share your eco-friendly suggestions with us!

A big thank you to everyone who contributed to our Jasper relief campaign. Together we were able to raise over $250 for the Rocky Mountain Community Relief Fund.

This donation will go directly to those impacted by the fires in Jasper supporting wildfire response and recovery.
